Colleagues in the Home Shop Centers collect, pack, and prepare customers' online orders. With the latest techniques and enthusiasm of colleagues, the crates are quickly filled. The delivery team loads everything into their vans and quickly heads to the customer.

Albert Heijn's success begins with the distribution centers. The 1,250 stores must be stocked every day, with colleagues ensuring the right deliveries.

Working as a Minor

Are you between 13 and 17 years old? You can also work at Albert Heijn! However, special rules apply.

Working hours by age:
  • 13-14 years

    Only on weekends and during school holidays. Maximum 5 hours per day.

  • 15 years

    Maximum 8 hours per day, not after 7:00 PM on school days.

  • 16-17 years

    Maximum 9 hours per day, evening work possible. Not after 11:00 PM.

Possible positions:
  • Stocker

    From age 13, stocking shelves and keeping the store tidy.

  • Cashier

    From age 16, working at the checkout and helping customers.
