As a 16-year-old at Albert Heijn, your salary depends on the position you work in. These are the hourly rates effective from June 16, 2025:
**Stocker/Cashier A:**
- Base hourly rate: €5.33 per hour
- All-in hourly rate: €7.10 per hour
**Service Employee/Cashier B:**
- Base hourly rate: €6.50 per hour
- All-in hourly rate: €8.66 per hour
**What does 'all-in' mean?**
The all-in hourly rate is an average that includes bonuses for evening and weekend work. Your actual hourly rate may vary depending on when you work.
**Example calculation (Stocker):**
- 8 hours per week: approx €42.64 - €56.80 per week (€171 - €227 per 4 weeks)
- 12 hours per week: approx €63.96 - €85.20 per week (€256 - €341 per 4 weeks)
- 16 hours per week: approx €85.28 - €113.60 per week (€341 - €454 per 4 weeks)
**Additional bonuses:**
- Sunday work: +50% on your hourly rate
- Public holidays: +100% on your hourly rate
- Evening bonus (22:00-00:00): +50%
- Night bonus (00:00-06:00): +50%
As a 16-year-old, your working hours are limited during school weeks. During holidays, you can work more hours. These salaries are set according to the VGL collective labor agreement and are effective from June 16, 2025.
